What We Do

MACSAIL tackles the most pressing online threats facing children and young people today
through preventive education, awareness, and community action.

Our Preventive Education Approach

We believe prevention is the most powerful form of protection. Rather than reacting to harm after it occurs,
MACSAIL equips children, parents, and educators with the knowledge and tools to recognise, resist, and report
online threats before they escalate.

School-Based Programmes

We deliver structured workshops and curriculum-integrated modules in primary and secondary schools across the UK and Nigeria.

Community Outreach

Our community sessions bring digital safety education to parents, faith groups, and local organisations where families gather.

Resource Development

We create accessible guides, toolkits, and multimedia resources in multiple formats for diverse audiences and literacy levels.

Policy & Advocacy

We work with policymakers and tech companies to advocate for stronger child protection standards and platform accountability.

Our Focus Areas

We address the five most critical online safety challenges facing children and teenagers today.

Online Grooming

We educate children and adults about how predators build trust online, equipping them to recognise manipulation tactics and report suspicious behaviour before harm occurs.

Sextortion

MACSAIL addresses the rising threat of sextortion through awareness programmes that teach young people about the dangers of sharing intimate content and how to respond if targeted.

Cyberbullying

Our programmes help schools and families tackle cyberbullying by fostering a culture of respect, building resilience in young people, and providing clear frameworks for intervention.

Misinformation

We build critical thinking skills in young people so they can identify false or misleading content, understand how algorithms amplify misinformation, and become responsible digital citizens.

Online Radicalisation

MACSAIL works to prevent young people from being drawn into extremist ideologies online through counter-narrative education, critical engagement, and community resilience building.

Online Radicalisation

We educate young people about the dangers of deliberately false or manipulated information shared online to mislead people. Children and teenagers often encounter content designed to deceive, influence opinions, or create confusion.
